Learn something new in 10 minutes a day

            By ⋅ 12 October 2012

As part of the online workshop I’m running at the Social Learning Centre on Social Media for Professional Development, I’ve set up a Learning Board on the new pinning tool, Learnist called Learn in 10 minutes a day – and I’d like to invite you  to contribute to the Board:

What resources could you use to learn something new in just 10 minutes a day?

If you haven’t heard about Learnist, which only opened its doors a few months ago, and yet managed to get enough votes in the Top 100 Tools for Learning 2012 survey to get a late place on the list, here’s a video.

And why 10 minutes? Well If you just spent 10 minutes every day learning something new, that would add up to around an hour a week, and around 50 hours a year – equivalent to around 8 training days!

So just doing something simple like that can have a huge impact on your own professional learning and development.  I’ll be writing a longer post about the importance of that shortly!
